Carbon neutrality refers to achieving net zero carbon emissions by balancing a measured amount of carbon released with an equivalent amount sequestered or offset, or buying enough carbon credits to make up the difference. It is used in the context of carbon dioxide releasing processes associated with transportation, energy production, and industrial processes.

When building to altering a home or building, paper is used, materials are manufactured and transported and many people travel to and from site.

In our efforts to be a sustainable company we monitor factors such as paper used and km’s travelled to calculate an overall carbon footprint for each project. We then work with Carbon Worx to have the suggested amount of trees planted that will offset this footprint.
